Humane Society Silicon Valley - A Look Back at 2008

Because of our community's support, we are able to provide a safe, caring place for surrendered, abandoned, and rescued animals, and in the past year find loving homes for nearly 3,000 dogs, cats, and rabbits. From feral cats to older dogs, from injured puppies to terrified cats, again and again we lead by example, providing each special animal in our care the time they need while we help them to find their next loving home. Our services aren’t limited to animals, as we impact everyone in the community: from educating children to providing peace of mind for seniors.

Take a journey through just some of our accomplishments here at Humane Society Silicon Valley in the following slides, and see for yourself how every day your support has helped us to realize our mission: To Save and Enhance Lives.

Our new Animal Community Center opening soon

Humane Society Silicon Valley's new Animal Community Center is scheduled to open in Spring of 2009.  It has been built from the ground up.  I am excited that this building will be a "green" building and we are anticipating a Gold LEED certification.

The new Animal Community Center will feature a home-like environment for all animals (no cages), a community dog park, cafe (for you),  boarding, grooming, doggie daycare, medical clinic, pet store, and so much more.

More exciting news to come.  Such as our grand opening and date.
